Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess both structured and unstructured datasets from various Military Health System data sources.

• Create, maintain, and improve dashboards and data visualizations utilizing Power BI or Tableau.

• Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture business needs and convert them into data-driven insights.

• Conduct data validation, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot issues.

• Assist with ongoing reporting obligations and address ad-hoc data inquiries from DHA leadership.

• Utilize SQL, SAS, Python, or comparable tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze healthcare and operational data.

• Present analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Document data processes, methodologies, and reporting protocols.

• Take part in regular client meetings and offer analytical support for ongoing program initiatives.

• Facilitate continuous enhancement of data analysis, reporting, and visualization processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Military Health System (MHS) data, including systems such as M2, MDR, or other similar healthcare data repositories.

• At least 1 year of experience in creating and managing dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.

• Experience in a client-facing role, providing support to stakeholders or program leadership.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following: SAS, SQL, R, or Python.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced government setting.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
