Daily Artist – Project Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create innovative and visually striking graphics that enhance daily editorial content across Fox News Media platforms, including Fox News Channel, Fox Business, Fox Weather, and Fox Nation.

• Respond to urgent requests for charts, maps, logos, fullscreens, and other custom topical images tailored to show requirements.

• Design captivating key art and develop toolkits for OTT platforms.

• Typeset and proofread text-based artwork, such as promotions, factoids, and infographics.

• Animate full-screen graphics, including scrolls, text tears, diagrams, and maps.

• Retouch and cut out headshots.

• Create logos and custom elements for upcoming news events.

• Collaborate with management and editorial teams to identify the most effective storytelling methods for each narrative.

• Propose and storyboard concepts for new shows and specials.

• Develop elements for broadcast, print, and digital media in alignment with established brand guidelines or animation packages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Communication is preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Provide a link to your portfolio.

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects on both Windows and Mac platforms.

• Experience in a live TV or OTT environment is essential.

• Strong grasp of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory.

• Capable of handling a large volume of daily graphic requests while adhering to established network-wide and show-specific design standards.

• Proficient in organizing information, including layout design, infographics, and overall composition.

• Awareness of current trends in graphic design and typography.

• Exceptional time-management and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy or quality.

• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to accept assignments and feedback from team members across all levels.

• Familiarity with Ross XPression Maps and Google Maps is highly recommended.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends or overnight shifts.

• UI/UX experience is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Maya, Cinema 4D, and other industry technologies is a plus.
