DAE Consultant I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +46 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize and enhance data infrastructure projects along with proof-of-concept business solutions tailored for analytics and Data Science users.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists and analytic engineers to address needs and devise tactical solutions.

• Implement data engineering work tracks from the initial stages of inception and prototyping to fully developed solutions.

• Create test scripts, conduct testing, and engage with data scientists and business teams to ensure acceptance by end-users.

• Rapidly develop new data and analytic work tracks through swift iterations and quick sprints.

• Design and provide data infrastructure that supports predictive modeling and analytics with minimal oversight.

• Guide team members in a business technical environment and foster innovation and process enhancement.

• Contribute to the development of enterprise data assets, information platforms, and data spaces.

• Formulate concepts, proof-of-concept designs, and prototypes for business or research data solutions.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers and business partners within cross-functional teams.

• Cultivate business subject-matter expertise as well as advanced analytics proficiency.

• Assist in the development of analytic data-source requirements and document those requirements with minimal supervision.

• This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

• Experience and qualifications that align with the offered compensation range.

• Proficiency in parallel processing/programming, software/programming languages, and technologies such as SQL, Python, and Spark.

• A background investigation is necessary.

• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions is required when working remotely.

• An appropriate desk and seating arrangement is necessary for the home workspace.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
