Cybersecurity Systems Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create system and integration architectures for secure data exchange, APIs, applications, platforms, and operational services.

• Establish interface patterns, system requirements, data flows, integration standards, and implementation guidance.

• Assess architectural options for security, scalability, reliability, performance, and operational supportability.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, cybersecurity engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the design and delivery process.

• Generate architecture diagrams, interface specifications, integration plans, and technical decision records.

• Assist the Department of Veterans Affairs Cybersecurity Operations and Services Enterprise program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• At least eight years of experience in systems engineering, integration architecture, software architecture, or enterprise application integration.

• Proven experience with APIs, integration patterns, data flows, cloud or hybrid architectures, and secure system design.

• Capability to translate business and technical requirements into actionable architecture and interface specifications.

• Excellent skills in architecture documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication.

• Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to satisfy eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
