Cybersecurity Specialist – DISA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute routine project activities focused on specialized information assurance challenges.

• Incorporate electronic processes or methodologies to address comprehensive system and technology issues related to information assurance requirements.

• Evaluate information security requirements.

• Utilize analytical and systematic methodologies to tackle workflow, organizational, and planning challenges.

• Offer security engineering assistance for information system planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration.

• Support Enterprise Software Systems for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

• Collaborate with technical experts in an agile setting to enhance current systems and application functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

• Must hold an active Secret Clearance.

• Seven (7) years of pertinent IT experience.

• Four (4) years of experience managing Linux Operating Systems.

• Four (4) years of experience supporting Windows Server Operating Systems.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, REGEX, BASH, PERL, or VBA.

• 2–4 years of experience in supporting/using SIEM tools for incident response.
