Cybersecurity Integration and Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan and implement security integration, interoperability, functional, and regression testing for systems and security tools.

• Create test plans, test cases, test data, procedures, and traceability documentation.

• Assess security requirements and the implementation of controls across interfaces, APIs, networks, applications, and cloud services.

• Record defects, facilitate root-cause analysis, and confirm corrective actions through retesting.

• Assist in release readiness reviews, test reporting, and production-acceptance processes.

• Contribute to the Department of Veterans Affairs COSE program, which provides enterprise cybersecurity operations, engineering, architecture, risk, and compliance support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• A minimum of five years of experience in systems integration, test engineering, quality assurance, cybersecurity engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience with test planning, defect tracking, requirements traceability, and integration or end-to-end testing.

• Knowledge of security controls, secure interfaces, APIs, cloud services, and vulnerability remediation.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
