Cybersecurity Engineer V

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance the security posture of the system through ongoing assessments based on threat analysis and security architecture.

• Oversees the resolution of cybersecurity issues identified during assessments.

• Takes ownership of developing various cybersecurity packages necessary for system authorization.

• Works in partnership with DevOps and software engineers to validate the security of deployed platforms.

• Directs the authorization initiatives for the program.

• Manages the authorization package and is accountable for producing necessary deliverables to attain authorization.

• Analyzes authorization requirements and implements necessary modifications.

• Provides expertise and leadership to enhance the team's and system's cybersecurity posture.

• Actively participates in cybersecurity authorization reviews and communicates effectively with leadership, peers, and external stakeholders to maintain system authorization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity.

• Proficient in using the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).

• Capable of assessing the security posture of complex systems and implementing processes and technical enhancements to meet compliance and risk mitigation objectives.

• Must be a citizen of the United States.

• Candidate must possess or be eligible to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
