This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the Marine Corps Oracle EBS R12 system, which encompasses asset visibility, supply chain, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial data.

• Collaborate within an Agile development team to ensure cyber compliance for Oracle products, software, and tools.

• Design, develop, and implement Technical Cyber controls.

• Assist in technical tasks, research, and the configuration of cyber controls in accordance with approved Agile methodologies.

• Evaluate technical designs and vendor documentation to comprehend cyber functionalities.

• Engage with government product owners and subject matter experts to assess requirements and offer solutions.

• Review Change Requests while gathering requirements and identifying viable solutions.

• Optimize and fine-tune relevant code and system configurations.

• Offer technical assistance during release testing phases.

• Create deployment instructions for code migration and rollback procedures.

• Develop design alternatives and detailed design specification documents.

• Lead meetings with product owners and oversee analysis throughout the design and development phases.

• Provide updates on related deliverables as necessary.

• Deliver high-quality work products and meet deadlines, including testing plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Cyber Security controls and remediation efforts.

• Familiarity with the Oracle Linux environment and shell scripting.

• Capability to enhance Oracle products, including applications, technology stacks, databases, operating systems, and tools according to DoD standards.

• Expertise in secure coding practices and methodologies for code review.

• Experience collaborating with vendors, particularly Oracle, on service requests.

• Ability to produce high-quality professional documentation and other written materials.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Adaptability to evolving business processes, technologies, and environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent level of experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in Cyber Security related to Oracle platforms.

• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIG, FIPS 140-2, and associated guidelines.

• CompTIA Security+ certification.

• U.S. Citizenship.

• Must be eligible to pass a T3 Background Investigation.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.

• Desired: Experience with Marine Corps/DoD Cybersecurity processes.

• Desired: Familiarity with Agile methodology.

• Desired: Experience implementing STIGs and cyber controls for Oracle applications, including Oracle EBS R12.2.x and Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c or higher.
