Cyber Security Specialist – Germany

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the secure operation of IT and OT systems, safeguarding them from cyber threats.

• Monitor security-related incidents and evaluate vulnerabilities.

• Develop both technical and organizational security measures.

• Coordinate and integrate external service provider expertise into the organization.

• Work collaboratively with IT, OT, QA, and Compliance teams.

• Convert regulatory requirements, like NIS2 and GxP, into actionable security processes.

• Assist in promoting security awareness initiatives.

• Act as the primary contact for the innovation, continuous improvement, and optimization of key security technologies, including network security, IAM, endpoint security, and PAM.

• Aid in the detection, prioritization, documentation, and escalation of cybersecurity incidents.

• Enhance security operations processes and associated playbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• You must be a resident and officially registered in Germany, with Germany as your principal residence.

• You should possess a completed university degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or a similar field.

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain.

• You hold at least one relevant certification, such as CISSP, GIAC, ISO 27001, SOC, or Incident Response certification.

• You are fluent in German (minimum C1 level) and have proficient English language skills.
