Cyber Security Engineer – Red Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop, write, and enhance offensive security labs, challenges, and online educational content for the Immersive One platform.

• Create diverse content formats utilizing practical exercises, questions, and elements of gamification.

• Evaluate Red Team labs and ranges to confirm their operational integrity.

• Investigate vulnerabilities, tools, and offensive strategies.

• Consolidate research into practical and theoretical labs for user engagement.

• Transform technical research into clear, digestible content for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with the broader Product team on new initiatives, product advancements, and deployment strategies.

• Influence and shape the roadmap for offensive security and AI penetration-testing content.

• Simulate attack scenarios and assist in training users to mitigate emerging threats.

• Develop emulated environments that mimic hacking and defense scenarios.

• Design, construct, and provide captivating practical and theoretical offensive-security content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in offensive security as a penetration tester or Offensive Security Consultant.

• Comprehensive understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and its application in helping organizations address potential threats.

• Strong technical knowledge of networking, computing, and cybersecurity principles.

• Capacity to use examples and analogies to clarify complex topics and create realistic simulations.

• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and Python is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in offensive security and executing red team engagements.

• Eligibility to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.
