This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform reviews of cloud configurations and security postures utilizing CSPM methodologies and automated scanning techniques in accordance with Ankura's cloud assessment standards.

• Evaluate cloud setups against established criteria and identify discrepancies in relation to NIST, ISO, CIS, and regulatory requirements.

• Analyze findings and produce client-ready reports that include prioritized recommendations for remediation and actionable roadmaps.

• Assist in reviews pertaining to identity and access management, network segmentation, logging and monitoring, workload configuration, and security governance.

• Oversee both internal and external resources for projects and client interactions.

• Collaborate with engagement leads and stakeholders to confirm findings and provide practical recommendations.

• Engage with clients and business leaders to facilitate statements of work and the delivery of engagements.

• Work collaboratively with IT, engineering, and security teams to promote the adoption of cloud security controls and operational enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• Cloud certification (Azure/AWS/GCP) is mandatory.

• Experience in conducting cloud security assessments for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and/or AWS environments, including configuration analysis and remediation planning; familiarity with GCP and Oracle Cloud is advantageous.

• Experience with configuring Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Purview is an asset.

• Excellent written communication skills, capable of producing structured executive summaries alongside detailed findings and recommendations.

• Practical experience in implementing, migrating, and managing security controls within Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 environments.

• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management frameworks within Microsoft cloud environments (for instance, Entra ID and privileged access concepts).

• Experience in establishing security governance and controls that align with compliance and risk management standards in cloud settings.

• Familiarity with CSPM tools and processes utilized in cloud posture evaluations, such as Prisma Cloud or Zscaler Posture Control, is preferred.

• Experience with cloud security posture management and configuration review programs, including the translation of findings into prioritized remediation strategies, is preferred.

• Understanding of security frameworks commonly applied in cloud assessments, including NIST, ISO, and CIS mappings, is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 25%).
