Cyber Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical analysis for cybersecurity initiatives

• Conduct assessments of security controls

• Confirm compliance with STIG/SRG

• Implement continuous monitoring strategies

• Create Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for controls that are not compliant

• Produce reports on cybersecurity regarding the overall security posture

• Suggest corrective measures

• Evaluate data from scanning tools, network security devices, SIEMs, log servers, application interfaces, and device consoles

• Notify Incident Handlers of security incidents or network breaches

• Ensure that all security enclaves are included in the planning process

• Formulate and implement security policies and compliance requirements tailored to each network enclave

• Assess compliance efforts

• Validate necessary access control lists and required training for system accessibility

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen

• Active Secret Clearance required

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA); additional relevant experience may substitute for degree

• Required Skills: Access Control (AC), Continuous Monitoring, Cyber Defense

• Candidate should live within a 50-mile radius of a major airport

• Willingness to travel 25% to 50% of the time

• Must currently hold a Secret clearance and be capable of maintaining or obtaining it

• Must undergo identity verification involving biometrics and AI; expected to be on camera during virtual interviews
