Cut-Over Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Plan, organize, and oversee activities related to the transition from the current LEW system landscape to the client's target platform.

• Develop, strategize, and manage cut-over activities for test migrations 0 through 3, the dress rehearsal, Go-Live, and the following stabilization phase.

• Construct, maintain, and consistently refine the local cut-over concept in collaboration with the central project.

• Create and oversee the integrated cut-over plan encompassing relevant streams and stakeholders.

• Synchronize local cut-over activities with the central OneBilling cut-over and migration leaders.

• Assess readiness criteria for cut-over and Go-Live.

• Coordinate production-related tasks leading up to Go-Live.

• Establish and manage transition risk management for the production environment.

• Prepare and guide Go/No-Go decision-making processes.

• Monitor progress and establish reporting frameworks.

• Report to project management, including the Business Owner and Tech Owner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Cut-Over Manager, Migration Manager, or Project Manager in intricate IT transformation initiatives.

• Proven track record in planning and executing production-critical Go-Lives.

• Background in complex IT and SAP transformation projects, preferably within the utilities sector (IS-U).

• Experience in managing multi-stream projects with substantial functional and technical interdependencies.

• Knowledge in risk management, readiness criteria, and Go/No-Go protocols.

• A structured and methodical approach to planning and executing migration and transition scenarios.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across diverse stakeholder groups.
