Customer Services Representative, Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for patients and attorneys regarding inquiries and issues related to billing.

• Manage incoming calls from patients, attorneys, insurance providers, and others.

• Address and resolve billing inquiries and provide answers to questions.

• Communicate effectively and relay revenue cycle processes or outcomes to callers.

• Be knowledgeable about payor and state regulations as well as client information.

• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or a general education degree (GED) is required.

• Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare and/or a call center environment.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Must be able to learn quickly and achieve departmental production and quality objectives.

• Familiarity with Customer Service department policies and procedures is essential.

• Understanding of medical insurance terminology is necessary.

• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

• Must be reliable, team-oriented, and possess a pleasant demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to comprehend payor and state regulations along with client information.
