Customer Service Specialist – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to phone calls, chat inquiries, social media messages, and emails in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.

• Engage with customers on a daily basis to nurture and enhance business relationships.

• Utilize probing questions to uncover customer issues or concerns.

• Accurately maintain and update customer account information.

• Address customer requests while minimizing the need for follow-up questions.

• Arrange delivery orders and apply basic negotiation skills for both new and returning customers.

• Manage service order inputs, emergency scripts, uncontrollable loss accounts, contract details, and basic pricing inquiries.

• De-escalate customer situations in accordance with the company’s customer complaint resolution policy.

• Dispatch statements and invoices to customers.

• Conduct soft collections for customers who are on credit hold or have overdue payments.

• Process cash transactions and accept payments over the phone.

• Assist in setting up new customer accounts.

• Achieve or surpass the minimum performance standards specified in company policy.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.

• Outstanding customer service and negotiation capabilities.

• Strong organizational skills, along with typing and data entry experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawful permanent resident, or possess authorization to work in the United States.

• Candidates must not currently require, nor will they in the future, sponsorship for an employment visa.
