Associate Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on-site with clients to pinpoint areas for operational enhancement and resolve challenges.

• Conduct field service duties, including diagnosing technical problems and performing certified on-site troubleshooting.

• Create lists of materials needed for service tasks, ensuring all components, parts, and equipment adhere to quality standards and are readily accessible.

• Implement installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements.

• Foster and sustain positive customer relationships to boost satisfaction levels.

• Uncover potential new sales opportunities while fulfilling customer needs and relay these internally.

• Anticipate potential equipment failures early and suggest corrective measures.

• Recommend product and quality enhancements.

• Provide management with suggestions for operational and customer service improvements.

• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold safe work and environmental practices.

• Promptly report unsafe practices and incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certificate in Skilled Trades (preferably electrical and electronics) along with OSHA 30 certification is mandatory.

• Proficient in interacting and communicating information (both written and verbal) to various levels within the organization.

• Competence in utilizing Microsoft Office products.

• Project Management skills using MS Project or Excel are preferred.

• Advanced organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines on administrative tasks.

• Candidates must possess existing work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
