Customer Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Achieve the objectives set by principals, focusing on volume, merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving targets at assigned customer accounts.

• Create detailed Customer Business Plans that align with the priorities of the principals.

• Engage with customer decision-makers to present and promote business plans, programs, and concepts.

• Attain results while maintaining the lowest selling cost and maximizing company revenue.

• Oversee expenditures from manufacturers at customer accounts.

• Ensure a competitively superior presence in-store.

• Manage manufacturers’ trade marketing funds and oversee direct shipments.

• Leverage data to effectively sell concepts to customers.

• Operate within the assigned budgets.

• Maintain regular communication with key principals.

• Collaborate with Retail Sales Managers on product launches, sales initiatives, and contests.

• Utilize marketing, technology, and administrative resources by applying customer and market insights.

• Share selling priorities and insights regarding customers and principals with internal teams.

• Utilize computer systems and Acosta communication systems to fulfill business-plan objectives.

• Provide operational feedback to the Team Leader and/or General Manager.

• Complete special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the relevant industry.

• Minimum of six months of experience in retail (CPG), marketing, space management, or resets.

• Preferred: Experience in sales administration or finance.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and web-based applications.

• Exceptional presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States, subject to E-Verify validation.
