Customer Implementation Engineer

📋 Description

• Establish connections between Watershed and client systems while configuring Watershed to align with client objectives.

• Develop and sustain data pipelines and API integrations.

• Write scripts to facilitate and oversee data connections to Watershed.

• Conduct data analysis on intricate data sets.

• Create dashboards and reports that empower clients to comprehend and act on their data.

• Advise clients on their goals and share industry best practices.

• Assist clients in constructing learning data ecosystems.

• Offer technical support and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the technology team.

• Advocate for product adaptations based on client requirements.

• Automate repetitive technical workflows.

• Design automation and deployment workflows utilizing CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

• Occasionally update Watershed’s core product.

• Represent the company and its product publicly, fostering client and industry-partner relationships, while identifying opportunities for expansion.

• Train clients on effective use of Watershed.

• Report to the Technical Watershed team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical programming experience, preferably including Python, REST APIs, data manipulation, and automation tools.

• At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role implementing SaaS software, data science, analytics, or reporting tools.

• Proven ability to construct and maintain data pipelines and system integrations.

• Capacity to comprehend client challenges and convert them into actionable technical solutions.

• Familiarity with learning data, xAPI, SCORM, and JSON is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication, documentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.

• Adaptability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to work autonomously while being an essential part of a team.

• Proficiency in SQL and MySQL databases.

• Experience in Python and Java development.

• Knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD automation.

• Willingness to accommodate occasional client meetings during US/UK core business hours.

• Availability for international travel to the United States when necessary.
