Customer Engineer, New Grad

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical liaison for enterprise clients.

• Quickly address customer inquiries via Slack or video conferencing and manage resolution from start to finish.

• Oversee technical onboarding, setup, configuration, and integrations with tools such as Zendesk, Intercom, HubSpot, and others.

• Analyze and resolve intricate issues within live customer settings.

• Apply fixes, integration improvements, and minor features within the Node.js/TypeScript codebase.

• Work alongside Product Engineering by providing customer insights, escalating systemic issues, and assisting in development prioritization.

• Build expertise in Open.cx AI agents and prompt engineering to guide customers in enhancing their support operations.

• Record recurring issues, solutions, and integration patterns to enhance internal knowledge and customer resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply (0–2 years of experience).

• Strong software engineering background with Node.js and TypeScript, including experience in writing and deploying production code.

• Practical experience with AI agents and prompt engineering.

• Previous technical roles that involved customer interaction, such as onboarding or troubleshooting integrations in a SaaS context.

• Solid understanding of, or the capacity to quickly learn, helpdesk APIs like Zendesk, Intercom, and HubSpot.

• Excellent English communication skills, encompassing clear writing and confident speaking during video calls with enterprise stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.

• Capable of collaborating with clients across US, EU, MENA, and GCC time zones.
