This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Functionally oversee, lead, and implement sales-related initiatives for the NHSc Holistic Health portfolio at key accounts, including C&S and ADUSA banners.
• Collaborate with internal strategy, category management, finance, and functional support teams to pinpoint and cultivate business opportunities.
• Achieve annual financial objectives while fostering meaningful relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Build strategic connections across assigned customer accounts.
• Surpass performance objectives through off-shelf displays, distribution improvements, and ACV enhancement.
• Forge working relationships with Customer Strategy, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
• Comprehend customers’ go-to-market models and category management tactics.
• Implement brand and category growth strategies that align with customer needs.
• Recognize growth opportunities and devise and execute strategic growth plans in line with corporate objectives.
• Educate business partners regarding products, retail ambitions, and success metrics.
• Present to customers on topics such as innovation, shelf positioning, promotions, and pricing.
• Oversee daily customer business operations, including UPC product/item setup and maintenance, logistics, and inventory management.
• Manage trade budgets while monitoring spending efficiency, ROI, and GTN efficiencies.
• Input data into the Trade Investment Management (Osprey) system.
• Oversee trade funds, direct sales forecasting, and projection activities.
• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years managing strategic FDM customers.
• Sales experience in Grocery retail channels is required.
• Experience in consumer goods, health & wellness, and vitamins and supplements is highly preferred.
• Proficient in utilizing syndicated data to assess customer needs and establish effective pricing and promotional strategies.
• Knowledge of project management with experience in setting up and managing projects in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of relationship management and experience collaborating with partners to build initiatives that meet goals.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage various brands/categories.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.
• Competency in multitasking and following up when responses are required.
• In-depth understanding of assigned customers and demand creation strategies.
• Creativity and a willingness to explore beyond conventional boundaries.
• A problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Dynamic leadership skills with the ability to navigate obstacles and objections.
• Articulate communication skills and the ability to quickly synthesize data.
