This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Functionally oversee, lead, and implement all sales-related initiatives for the Costco business.
• Support Nestlé and customer systems, including Osprey.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships within Nestlé and Costco to ensure success in both inline and .com channels.
• Drive retailer-specific achievements, encompassing displays, distribution gains, and ACV enhancement.
• Collaborate with teams in Customer Strategy, Finance, Customer Service, shopper insights, and digital sectors.
• Comprehend and convey Costco’s go-to-market, category management, and e-commerce strategies.
• Deliver budget plans and goals for new product distribution.
• Implement brand and category growth strategies aligned with Costco's objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities and formulate written sales plans.
• Manage relationships with Costco buyers, assistant buyers, and regional buying teams.
• Educate business partners on products, retail objectives, and success metrics.
• Create customer presentations that encompass innovation, shelf positioning, promotions, and pricing strategies.
• Oversee UPC setup, item maintenance, logistics, and inventory management.
• Promote new products and campaigns.
• Manage Trade Investment Management in Osprey, including trade funds, sales forecasting, and projections.
• Support Costco’s depot distribution model through effective forecasting, inventory flow, and replenishment planning.
• Generate monthly reports, sales analytics, and insights.
• Assess SKU productivity and suggest pack, pricing, or promotional modifications.
• Manage P&L within the designated account coverage.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience managing large customers is desired.
• Sales experience in Grocery, Drug, and/or Mass retail channels is required.
• Knowledge of Costco and the Club channel is essential.
• Experience in consumer goods, particularly vitamins and supplements, is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with using syndicated data to assess customer needs and optimize pricing and promotional strategies.
• Understanding of project management with experience in setting up and overseeing projects in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relationship management with experience in collaborating with partners to achieve strategic goals.
• Strong cross-functional relationships with assigned accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and various brands/categories.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Capacity to multitask and follow up as needed.
• In-depth understanding of the assigned customer and demand creation plans.
• Problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Dynamic leadership skills with the ability to navigate obstacles and objections.
• Ability to quickly synthesize data.
• Experience in P&L management and strong financial acumen.
