This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist the Senior Director of Sales and National Account Manager in reaching sales, distribution, market share, and profitability goals.

• Develop 24-month sales priorities that align with the objectives of Once Upon a Farm and Whole Foods Market.

• Discover opportunities for incremental distribution, merchandising, and expansion.

• Provide sell-in support for new product launches, line extensions, and promotional activities.

• Prepare presentations and narratives for retailers.

• Aid in the development and execution of the Whole Foods Market Joint Business Plan.

• Oversee the UNFI relationship and enhance the collaboration between Once Upon a Farm, Whole Foods Market, and UNFI.

• Optimize pricing, trade investments, promotional schedules, and merchandising budgets.

• Implement merchandising and secondary-display programs, including inventory placement, signage, trade programming, and shopper support.

• Coordinate Category Review contributions across cross-functional teams.

• Identify execution gaps, risks, and growth prospects and formulate action plans.

• Analyze Nielsen syndicated data, Whole Foods Market Vendor Central POS data, and UNFI data.

• Generate category insights and recommendations to enhance velocity, distribution, market share, and profitability.

• Enhance forecast accuracy, volume pacing, inventory management, and in-stock performance.

• Track sales, share, ACV, margin, weeks of supply, fill rates, spoilage, and promotional lift KPIs.

• Create business scorecards and weekly/monthly performance reports.

• Monitor new product launches and innovation performance.

• Collaborate with Sales, Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Operations, Customer Development, and Category Insights.

• Manage innovation planning and launch preparedness.

• Establish omnichannel go-to-market strategies that integrate trade, in-store, digital, and social activations.

• Propel omnichannel growth across Whole Foods on Amazon.

• Foster collaboration surrounding Whole Foods Market and UNFI initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of retail sales experience, including a minimum of 3 years directly supporting Whole Foods Market and collaborating with UNFI.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Preference for candidates based in Austin, TX.

• Proven history of surpassing sales targets through cross-functional teamwork.

• Capability to align company strategy with Whole Foods Market growth goals.

• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills, including proficiency in executive-level presentations.

• Exceptional strategic and analytical abilities.

• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership experience.

• Expert understanding of the Whole Foods Market/Amazon digital ecosystem.

• Proven success with consumer packaged goods firms and/or relevant retail experience.

• Experience in managing trade budgets and optimizing promotional strategies for ROI and trade efficiencies.

• Knowledge of effective retail execution.

• Ability to manage and update digital content for existing and new .com products.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, AI tools, and other professional platforms.

• A genuine passion for enhancing childhood nutrition.

• Capacity to thrive in uncertainty, comprehend business needs, devise cohesive strategies, and make high-judgment decisions.

• Must reside in the United States.
