
Customer Application Specialist – Pathology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver pre-sales scientific and technical guidance, collaborating with Sales to direct customers towards the best Pathology and Genomics solutions.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert during customer meetings and presentations, both in-person and remotely.
• Travel alongside Sales Account Managers to cultivate new business opportunities and support current accounts.
• Assist with post-sales installations, including on-site training and Performance Qualification, working with Field Service Engineers and internal teams.
• Enhance customer assays, including IHC, Special Stains, H&E, and Molecular ISH/FISH.
• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting in collaboration with Applications, Technical Support, Sales, and Service teams.
• Represent the customer's perspective and supply feedback for future product and application advancements.
• Stay informed about competitive solutions and effectively communicate Agilent’s value differentiators.
• Handle administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reports, and service documentation.
• Travel across the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the greater South Florida area.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in supporting pathology and genomics instrumentation and workflows in clinical or laboratory settings.
• HT or QIHC certification is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal) is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are highly preferred.
• Strong scientific and technical expertise in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Special Stains and H&E, as well as molecular techniques like ISH/FISH.
• Capability to convey complex scientific concepts clearly to a varied audience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% with flexible working hours.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform hands-on laboratory tasks.
• Must fulfill Agilent-approved customer and vendor credentialing criteria for site access, where necessary.
