
Customer Advocacy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of and expand a curated group of top-tier customer advocates
• Oversee advocate engagement and pinpoint recognition opportunities
• Manage the comprehensive annual customer awards program, encompassing nominations, judging, and recognition
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify customers with compelling stories
• Conduct interviews with customers and transform their experiences into engaging market narratives
• Work alongside Product Marketing to align customer stories with product messaging and positioning
• Lead the development of case studies and customer videos from identification through to publication
• Coordinate with video vendors and internal writers to ensure deliverables are met
• Prepare and source customers to speak at events, webinars, and public forums
• Address PR and analyst relations requests for customer references, quotes, and stories
• Connect customers with sales enablement, campaigns, events, and other opportunities
• Cultivate internal and external relationships to sustain a pipeline of stories and speakers
• Monitor and report on program engagement and advocacy results
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in customer marketing, customer advocacy, community, or a similar customer-facing program role
• Proven ability to independently manage a program with minimal oversight
• Excellent interviewing skills
• Experience in briefing and overseeing external vendors and internal writers to deliver polished outputs
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success Management, Product Marketing, PR/AR, and Marketing
• Strong skills in building relationships both internally and externally
• Solid project management instincts with the ability to juggle multiple stories, speakers, and requests simultaneously
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Ability to work in compliance with U.S. export controls
• Target annual bonus of 15% of base salary
