This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics relationship from the executive level downwards.
• Enhance engagement with senior GE Aerospace leadership to secure business and strengthen the partnership.
• Continuously understand the customer’s vision, business model, portfolio, regional market landscape, competitors, and GE Aerospace priorities.
• Direct strategic account planning with LM Aero and GE Aerospace stakeholders.
• Establish growth objectives, value propositions, and collaborative action plans.
• Coordinate priorities across GE Aerospace Profit & Loss teams, Strategy & Business Development, and other departments.
• Voice the customer's needs in capture teams.
• Lead the pre-positioning of significant opportunities and drive initiatives through structured campaigns.
• Address business challenges, resolve issues, and maintain customer relationships.
• Convert growth priorities into actionable plans.
• Support executive participation at tradeshows, conferences, summits, and executive management reviews.
• Ethically source and synthesize competitive intelligence.
• Travel approximately 15%–25% as required by business needs.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in direct sales, business development, and/or account management within the Aviation or Defense sector.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in presenting strategies and complex information to colleagues and senior leadership.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to craft customer-centric strategies.
• Knowledge of the Defense market, including positions of airframers, competitors, and suppliers.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense budgeting and acquisition processes.
• Existing security clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for business.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in analyzing and resolving issues while guiding complex programs or projects through execution.
• Strong business acumen, including financial considerations, business cases, and customer value propositions.
• Experience engaging directly with senior officials on security, defense, or commercial matters.
• Openness to contribute ideas on go-to-market strategies, new product developments, and shifts in customer and competitor landscapes.
• Ability to inform strategies using sales and customer or competitor engagement data.
• Alignment with GE Aerospace Behaviors and a commitment to integrity.
• Capability to demonstrate U.S. Person status for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
