Crop Claims Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize knowledge of advanced operational best practices and procedures in daily tasks.

• Oversee and assist with essential office support functions as detailed in Operations Best Practices.

• Ensure adherence to operational reporting standards by employing suitable monitoring controls.

• Serve as an expert on the claims assignment process and act as the liaison with the Call Center for the department.

• Address customer inquiries promptly, accurately, and in a professional manner.

• Provide escalated problem resolution for internal partners and appropriately escalate inquiries.

• Identify and resolve issues using procedural documentation and reference materials.

• Suggest and implement process enhancement ideas to boost efficiency in functional areas.

• Support various platforms and functions including Coupa, drone operations, Hi Marley, DocuSign, SharePoint, distribution lists, forms, reporting, equipment ordering, and ServiceNow requests.

• Manage databases, which includes data entry, maintenance, and reporting.

• Execute and distribute standard metrics or required Documented Evidence of Review reports.

• Engage in re-engineering claims technical, administrative, and operational workflows.

• Collaborate with the Senior Operations Analyst and/or Operations Consultant as part of crop teams.

• Provide analysis related to reporting and databases overseen by the Crop Operations Analyst team.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, with 3 or more years of experience in the Clerical or Office sector, OR a Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and at least 1 year of experience in the Clerical or Office sector.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to offer expertise and guidance to team members and business partners.

• Effective prioritization skills.

• Ability to manage multiple recurring and ad hoc tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Experience in insurance, customer service, multi-tasking, and familiarity with crop claims and/or claims operations in the United States.
