Credit Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in the hiring process for the Credit Department, which includes onboarding and the completion of necessary paperwork for new hires.

• Organize and manage training programs and schedules for new employees.

• Collaborate with trainers specific to positions and teams.

• Create and implement ongoing training initiatives that promote skill enhancement and performance improvement.

• Provide refresher courses, individual coaching, and development of soft skills for current team members.

• Assess team members' knowledge, identify skill deficiencies, and customize training to boost both individual and team performance.

• Keep training materials and documentation current and accurate in Confluence, Spokane, Clothesline, and other relevant systems.

• Assist with Credit Department operations, including collections, order approvals, account maintenance, and customer interactions.

• Ensure effective communication among new hires, trainers, supervisors, and managers.

• Maintain SanMar’s commitment to outstanding customer service and Family Values.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the full accounts receivable cycle or collections, or equivalent educational background.

• Proficient in D365, MS Teams, Salesforce, Cybersource, ASM, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capable of managing confidential information with care.

• Excellent attendance and punctuality record.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Team-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving mutually beneficial solutions.

• Proven skills in de-escalation and negotiation.

• Strong capabilities in time management, prioritization, and multitasking.

• Detail-oriented approach with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

• Adaptable and positive attitude towards change, reflecting alignment with SanMar’s Family Values.

• Availability to work standard hours from 8:00–5:00 PST.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Ability to perform extended computer-based tasks and lift/move items weighing 10–15 pounds occasionally.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States, as SanMar participates in E-Verify.
