Credit Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the hiring process for the Credit Department, which includes onboarding and completing necessary paperwork for new hires.

• Organize and manage training programs and schedules for incoming employees.

• Work in collaboration with position-specific training aides and trainers from various teams.

• Create and execute ongoing training initiatives that enhance skill development and performance improvement within the Credit team.

• Provide refresher sessions, individualized coaching, and soft skills training for current team members.

• Assess team members’ knowledge, identify skill deficiencies, and customize training to boost both individual and team productivity.

• Keep training materials and documentation current and accurate in Confluence, Spokane, Clothesline, and other relevant systems.

• Assist with Credit Department operations, including collections, order approvals, account management, and customer interactions.

• Ensure effective communication among new hires, trainers, supervisors, and management.

• Maintain SanMar’s dedication to outstanding customer service and Family Values.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of full Account Receivable cycle or collection experience, or equivalent educational background.

• Proficient in D365, MS Teams, Salesforce, Cybersource, ASM, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capable of handling confidential information with care and discretion.

• Consistently demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Collaborative attitude with a proven track record of finding mutually agreeable solutions.

• Proven skills in de-escalation and negotiation.

• Strong abilities in time management, prioritization, and multitasking.

• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

• Adaptable and positive attitude towards change, reflecting alignment with SanMar’s Family Values.

• Availability to work standard hours of 8:00–5:00 PST.

• Capability to perform essential physical and visual job functions, with reasonable accommodations potentially available.
