This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Conduct thorough reviews of individual credit files to evaluate the quality of underwriting and portfolio management.
β’ Validate and adjust risk ratings independently when required.
β’ Execute credit risk intelligence efforts and utilize insights to select loan samples.
β’ Identify loans that exhibit potential weaknesses or have clearly defined issues.
β’ Analyze trends that impact loan portfolio quality and identify potential problem areas.
β’ Evaluate compliance with internal credit policies and procedures, and monitor adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
β’ Stay updated on credit review methodologies and regulatory expectations.
β’ Perform credit portfolio reviews, providing appropriate critiques and feedback.
β’ Prepare reports that summarize review findings and recommendations.
β’ Collaborate with fellow Credit Risk Review team members and internal bank stakeholders.
β’ Engage in special projects, ongoing credit risk intelligence initiatives, and related training sessions.
β’ Report results to the Credit Risk Review management team.
β’ Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of relevant credit experience (required).
β’ Experience in credit review (preferred).
β’ Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
β’ Master's Degree (preferred).
β’ Credit Risk Certification (CRC) (preferred).
β’ Moodyβs Analytics Certificate in Commercial Credit (CICC) (preferred).
β’ Capability to independently assign risk ratings based on internal policies, risk rating methodologies, and external regulatory guidance.
β’ Proficiency in assessing client creditworthiness and conducting independent financial analyses.
β’ Ability to work autonomously, seek necessary information, and collaborate as needed.
β’ Strong business writing skills and effective presentation of information.
β’ Competence in prioritizing and managing multiple assignments while proactively communicating delays or availability issues.
β’ Foundational understanding of lending products along with business, industry, and regulatory concepts.
β’ Capability to build and sustain strong relationships across all lines of defense.
β’ Excellent communication skills.
β’ Ability to make informed decisions based on available information.
β’ Adherence to KeyBank's policies, procedures, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
