Credit Policy and Strategy Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and implement credit regulations, decision frameworks, and credit policies for the issuance and limit management of Corporate Credit Cards and Receivables Financing.

• Perform analytical assessments of the customer base to uncover trends, forecast delinquency, and enhance scoring models.

• Formulate targeted decision strategies for Credit Cards and Invoice Discounting, balancing risk with commercial advantage.

• Evaluate revolving credit limits, debt capacity, spending habits, and proactive adjustments for credit limits, whether increases or decreases.

• Assess obligor and assignor risk, note settlement, portfolio concentration, and discount/re-purchase rates.

• Track risk indicators (FPD, SPD, NPL) by channel, product, and score range utilizing Vintage Analysis.

• Design and oversee A/B tests and Champion/Challenger experiments related to credit policies.

• Convert statistical analyses into actionable insights for Product, Data Engineering, and Sales teams.

• Leverage data, statistics, and analytical intelligence to inform automated credit decisions and reduce risks linked to financial products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Extensive experience with credit strategies, policies, or analytics in the business segment (SMEs and corporate clients).

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Familiarity with Python for exploratory analysis and statistical modeling.

• Understanding of credit risk metrics (PD, LGD, EAD, Bad Rate, Transition Matrix).
