Credit Control Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Contact clients regarding overdue invoices via phone and email, with a firm yet courteous approach.

• Oversee the debtor ledger and produce aged debt reports.

• Negotiate payment arrangements and escalate issues when necessary.

• Reconcile customer accounts and address any disputes.

• Assist in cash flow forecasting by providing precise collection data.

• Provide support to a UK-based employer from South Africa while fostering strong customer relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in credit control or collections.

• Comfort in managing payment discussions over the phone.

• Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.

• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

• Dependable home internet connection and a quiet workspace.

• Availability to work from 09:00 to 17:00 UK time (11:00 to 19:00 SAST).
