This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Provide timely and precise credentialing reports along with compliance status updates to management.
• Create credentialing strategies informed by data analysis, regulatory demands, and operational insights.
• Oversee and ensure adherence to credentialing quality and compliance standards.
• Ensure provider satisfaction and meet regulatory requirements.
• Offer coaching and constructive feedback to credentialing personnel.
• Establish and sustain communication with providers, payers, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify credentialing requirements and resolve verification challenges.
• Supervise credentialing workflows and application queues in accordance with established timelines and targets.
• Report any delays or compliance deficiencies and take appropriate measures.
• Conduct root cause analysis on credentialing issues and implement corrective measures.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving credentialing turnaround times.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Achieve credential maintenance and renewal objectives.
• Engage in staff development and ongoing process enhancements.
• Graduate/post-graduate with CPC/COC/CCS/CCS-P Certification from AAPC/AHIMA.
• At least 6-7 years of hands-on experience in medical coding and credentialing.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership position managing a team of credentialing specialists.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adapt quickly and seamlessly to shifting priorities and conditions.
• Skill in interpreting data, identifying trends, and proposing enhancements.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Proactive in building trust and professional relationships with colleagues and team members.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in delivering clear, constructive, and professional communication.
