Credentialing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and currency of all healthcare provider credentials.

• Gather, verify, and keep copies of professional licenses, certifications, and registrations.

• Perform primary source verification for licenses, certifications, and other necessary documents.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and facility-specific regulations.

• Manage and oversee background checks, as well as employment and education verifications.

• Organize and monitor medical assessments and renewals, which include physicals, immunizations, and lab tests such as drug screening, titers, flu vaccinations, and TB testing.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, recruiters, and facility representatives to facilitate timely credentialing and onboarding processes.

• Coordinate medical scheduling with providers and facilities.

• Provide updates to relevant stakeholders regarding the status of credentialing progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in healthcare credentialing, compliance, or a related administrative position.

• Demonstrated experience in healthcare staffing, particularly in credentialing healthcare providers.

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory standards, including JCAHO, TJC, and NCQA guidelines.

• Familiarity with credentialing systems and experience with VMS platforms is advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong customer service skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.

• Ability to uphold strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
