Creative Assistant, Illustration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop new artwork and complete sets in the established Hadley Designs style across various product lines.

• Illustrate and create original characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes.

• Transform the Chief Creative Officer's concepts into finished designs that are ready for production.

• Manage designs from the initial handoff through to the final build-out stage.

• Take ownership of variations, complete set build-outs, and file preparation.

• Prepare print and production files according to specifications.

• Create mockups and product previews for listings.

• Ensure consistency with style and branding across product sets.

• Maintain the living style reference.

• Provide occasional support for secondary ad operations and make revisions on existing product lines.

• Deliver work punctually and independently manage projects from handoff to production-ready status.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing original illustration work that reflects a cute, playful, kid-friendly, or product design aesthetic.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration work.

• Ability to replicate and extend an existing artistic style.

• Capability to interpret written and verbal creative direction and produce finished work.

• Dependability in meeting deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

• An early-career illustrator possessing genuine drawing talent and a keen eye for cute, playful, kid-friendly design.

• Experience in preparing print/production files to specifications (preferred).

• Familiarity with the children’s, educational, or consumer-product sectors (preferred).

• Comfort with Notion, ClickUp, and file organization tools (preferred).
