
CRE Portfolio Manager β II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee a designated portfolio of progressively intricate commercial loan relationships post-loan closure.
β’ Conduct annual reviews, financial assessments, renewals, risk-rating evaluations, and continuous monitoring of borrower relationships.
β’ Analyze financial performance and credit risk by reviewing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, operational results, and other borrower data.
β’ Assess renewals, eligible modifications, restructures, and other portfolio actions in line with established policies and delegated authority.
β’ Utilize independent credit judgment and escalate cases that require further examination.
β’ Recognize emerging risks related to borrower performance, market conditions, industry trends, collateral, and other repayment elements.
β’ Ensure compliance with financial reporting, covenants, maturities, collateral documentation, insurance, property taxes, and other loan stipulations.
β’ Engage with borrowers and credit union partners concerning financial data, loan requirements, portfolio performance, and issues needing resolution.
β’ Collaborate with Credit Administration, Underwriting, Risk, Sales, Special Assets, Servicing, and leadership teams.
β’ Act as a mentor to less experienced Portfolio Managers by sharing insights and offering guidance.
β’ Participate in credit discussions and departmental projects, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations.
β’ Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining sound judgment, organization, and focus on credit quality.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
β’ Four to seven years of experience in commercial lending, commercial credit analysis, portfolio management, financial analysis, or a related field.
β’ Proven experience managing commercial loan relationships and assessing credit risk.
β’ Proficient in analyzing financial data and making informed credit recommendations.
β’ Ability to assess complex information, determine key factors, and make sound decisions.
β’ Experience in providing guidance, training, or knowledge-sharing support to junior team members.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex credit information clearly to diverse audiences.
β’ Familiarity with Sageworks/ABRIGO or equivalent credit-spreading software.
