This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Act as the primary point of contact for court clients across the state.
• Address a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails concerning citations.
• Arrange appointments for hearing officers and provide details regarding case payment options.
• Collaborate with Language Line personnel and supervisory staff as needed.
• Utilize resource materials to ensure accurate service in alignment with performance metrics and guidelines.
• Record customer inquiries in accordance with documentation standards.
• Direct callers to court administration, accounting personnel, subject matter experts, or other agencies.
• Initiate cases in the MNCIS court case information system based on law enforcement citations.
• Compile quality-assurance reports.
• Operate under the supervision of the MN Court Payment Center manager or lead worker.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of six months of professional office experience in a busy call center utilizing automated call-distribution (ACD) software.
• Dependable, high-speed internet to ensure effective remote access to the Judicial Branch network.
• Capability to attend new employee orientation and training sessions in person.
• Willingness to participate in in-person training at the MN Judicial Center located in St. Paul, MN.
• Ability to sit and wear a headset for a substantial portion of the day.
• Capacity to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Proficiency in significant data entry based on daily assignments.
• Ability to operate multiple computer applications simultaneously.
• Competence in managing sensitive and confidential matters in accordance with court rules, policies, and statutes.
• Must successfully complete background check procedures.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of related customer service experience is preferred.
• More than 2 years of experience in a high-volume, high-performance call center is preferred.
• Previous experience troubleshooting technical issues independently in a remote setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with MNCIS is preferred.
• Proficiency in a second language is preferred.
