This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.
• Lead the country acquisition team in Armenia, which includes four freelance country representatives.
• Manage client relationships post-acquisition to ensure continuity, engagement quality, and strategic alignment.
• Develop and execute the Country Impact Plan in accordance with PUM’s mission, strategy, and organizational goals.
• Enhance business ecosystems through strategic analysis and alignment with PUM programs.
• Build partnerships with entrepreneurs, business organizations, and enabling entities.
• Identify, develop, and secure funding opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, corporate partners, and other sponsors.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with SMEs and stakeholders via account management and ongoing engagement.
• Assemble, lead, and mentor the country representative team.
• Ensure team capacity, motivation, accountability, and performance, including organizing country team meetings.
• Qualify new clients based on diversity, inclusion, and green and social goal criteria.
• Approve project proposals and guarantee accurate information for expert matching.
• Collaborate with program managers to facilitate successful project outcomes.
• Occasionally welcome and guide visiting experts.
• Engage with clients after acquisition to maintain continuity, quality, and strategic fit.
• Lead briefing and debriefing sessions for quality assurance, data gathering, and learning.
• Monitor performance and utilize data to share insights and enhance results.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Bachelor's or master's degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a coordinating role and leading a commercial or acquisition-oriented team.
• Strong local SME network and a comprehensive understanding of business ecosystem development in Armenia.
• Familiarity with European work culture and remote collaboration in international organizations.
• Excellent intercultural communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and accountability skills, including performance management and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in managing a remote team operating throughout Armenia.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Armenia.
• Strong emphasis on impact, quality, and measurable results.
• Data-driven and proficient in using digital tools, including Microsoft 365.
• Excellent command of English.
• Fluent in Armenian.
• Permanently based in Armenia.
• Available for 19 hours per week.
• Must complete reference checks and a declaration of good conduct as part of the selection process.
• Independent contractor assignment with a competitive fee that aligns with local market standards.
