Counselor, Education Sector – IT Strategy, Digital Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide advice, guidance, and insights to IT Leaders within the Education sector.

• Support executives in achieving enhanced results by refining their decision-making processes.

• Manage a portfolio consisting of 20-25 clients in our Education sector.

• Engage in open-ended, value-driven discussions with clients.

• Deliver confidential and professional advisory services to members both in-person and online.

• Assess the needs of members and formulate objectives and action plans.

• Offer proactive thought leadership and innovative ideas.

• Maintain regular communication and provide support to Sales Leadership and Account Directors.

• Utilize ITRG and third-party resources effectively.

• Identify members’ expectations and pain points regarding value and connect them with appropriate solutions.

• Generate statistical and summary reports that reflect KPIs and operational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in Education or consulting is required.

• Proven experience operating within the Education sector, including K-12, higher education, or related organizations.

• Experience in IT operational leadership, with a preference for CIO-level experience.

• Strong skills in managing relationships with people.

• Competence in operational and systems development.

• Background in proposal writing, financial budgeting, management, and reporting.

• Comprehensive understanding of various executive management roles in the industry.

• Capability to coordinate intricate service delivery models.

• Outstanding focus on customer service.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
