This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee eDiscovery and information governance initiatives in intricate litigation and investigations.
β’ Draft and evaluate discovery and governance deliverables, such as legal memoranda, correspondence, protective orders, ESI agreements, motions, playbook elements, and defensibility memoranda.
β’ Create outlines and talking points for client meetings, custodian interviews, meet-and-confers, and motion hearings.
β’ Collaborate with merits counsel, co-counsel, and experts.
β’ Assist in expert task/matter management and preparation for oral testimony as required.
β’ Offer practical legal guidance to Firm teams.
β’ Stay updated on emerging laws and aid in training and policy development.
β’ Mentor and coach junior team members.
β’ Contribute to the formation of cohesive, high-performing teams.
β’ Engage in thought leadership and practice development initiatives.
β’ Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships.
β’ Collaborate with clients, merits counsel, co-counsel, experts, and internal teams to implement practical, defensible discovery strategies.
β’ Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
β’ Active admission to a U.S. bar, with additional admissions obtained as necessary.
β’ 5β10 years of experience in managing eDiscovery for complex litigation and investigations.
β’ Exceptional legal writing and research abilities.
β’ Demonstrated capability in drafting intricate discovery documents and memoranda.
β’ Strong project leadership and client-facing communication skills.
β’ Comfortable working directly with merits counsel and co-counsel.
β’ Technology-savvy mindset.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
β’ Quick to learn and utilize litigation support tools.
β’ Willingness to travel as required, including international travel based on assignments.
β’ Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
β’ Ability to frequently reach and grasp with arms and hands.
β’ Ability to occasionally stoop and bend.
β’ Manual dexterity.
β’ Capability to closely examine and inspect materials.
β’ Ability to identify and differentiate colors.
β’ Frequently use a keyboard for entering or transforming words or data.
