Corporate Tax Manager – Americas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee corporate income tax activities across the Americas, encompassing compliance, reporting, and strategic planning.

• Implement improvements in existing processes, including the integration of AI into income tax compliance and reporting.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to facilitate the preparation and submission of tax returns.

• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and aid in evaluating their implications.

• Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries effectively.

• Examine key tax factors in the US, Canada, and Latin America, providing valuable insights.

• Collaborate with finance and legal departments on tax-related issues.

• Contribute to essential tax planning efforts and process enhancements.

• Prepare the US, Canadian, and Latin American components of the quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with IAS 12 / ASC 740.

• Assist with reconciliations, disclosures, and reporting schedules.

• Support the forecasting of cash taxes and the budgeting process.

• Aid in international tax issues, including Country-By-Country reporting, Pillar 2, and analysis of international tax treaties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA designation or a Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.

• 6 to 8+ years of experience in corporate tax.

• In-depth understanding of US Federal income tax regulations and tax accounting principles.

• Familiarity with international tax issues.

• Proficient knowledge of tax and AI tools.
