
Senior Tax Manager, Property Tax – Strategic Valuation Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform property tax evaluations for DMA clients and oversee designated client accounts.
• Assess and provide consultation on intricate personal property compliance projects and evaluation reviews of machinery and equipment.
• Execute recommendations and strategies aimed at tax savings.
• Spearhead business development initiatives.
• Manage client interactions throughout and following the review process.
• Cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships, including the expansion of services and cross-selling opportunities.
• Recognize and develop property tax prospects in collaboration with internal Business Development teams.
• Carry out physical inspections of facilities and engage with on-site management.
• Deliver findings and recommendations to clients.
• Liaise with state and local tax authorities through negotiations, appeals, and board hearings.
• Investigate tax laws, regulations, court rulings, industry trends, economic factors, comparable companies, and financial statements.
• Oversee and review the work of Analysts, Consultants, and/or Tax Managers.
• Collaborate with National Accounts and business development professionals to craft tailored solutions.
• Participate as a speaker or panelist at tax community events and conferences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related area (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Over 7 years of experience in property tax consulting, valuation, or a related field, showcasing leadership capabilities.
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with valuation models is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and effectively lead teams.
• Willingness to travel 25–40% as necessary.
• Standard 40-hour work week.
• Capacity to hear, understand, and differentiate speech and sounds.
• Frequent repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.
