This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote Abbott’s range of cardiovascular products to targeted ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).
• Conduct regular business assessments for assigned accounts.
• Offer solutions and expertise to address issues for designated ASC accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Develop executive-level connections with ASC customers across various segments, therapy areas, and business functions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create solutions and services.
• Create, manage, and negotiate contracts and contract frameworks.
• Drive integrated product agreements and business solutions to enhance market share and achieve growth.
• Formulate and execute business plans for targeted accounts.
• Prepare and present corporate proposals and branding presentations.
• Oversee internal and external strategic partnerships.
• Work alongside contract management and legal teams to ensure compliance with contracts.
• Provide support to sales team counterparts with strategic initiatives within targeted accounts and regions.
• Achieve or surpass annual sales targets.
• Keep the organization updated on business planning and post-contract implementation progress.
• Enhance account performance utilizing sales data and ASC market knowledge.
• Report to the Enterprise Accounts Vice President for Ambulatory Surgery Centers and collaborate within a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant work/sales experience is required.
• Demonstrated history of sales success.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Experience in cross-specialty contracting and contract management.
• Knowledge of and prior experience with ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) is required.
• Familiarity with the cardiovascular medical device market is strongly preferred.
• Capability to work collaboratively and influence others.
• Proficient in preparing and delivering effective oral and written communications.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, analyze issues, develop alternative solutions, and implement strategies.
• Experience managing both mature and emerging businesses with diverse product portfolios is preferred.
• Understanding of the capital selling cycle and capital acquisition methods is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50%-75% within an assigned geographic territory.
• Capability to perform significant standing, walking, and driving activities.
