This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote Abbott’s range of cardiovascular products in selected ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).
• Conduct regular business assessments for assigned accounts.
• Offer solutions and expertise to address challenges faced by designated ASC accounts.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Establish executive-level connections with ASC clients across various segments, therapy areas, and business functions.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to design solutions and services.
• Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts and their structures.
• Implement integrated product agreements and business strategies to enhance market share and drive growth.
• Formulate and execute business plans for targeted accounts.
• Prepare and present corporate proposals and branding materials.
• Oversee strategic partnerships and evaluate partner capabilities.
• Work closely with contract management and legal teams to fulfill internal and legal obligations.
• Assist sales colleagues with strategic initiatives within targeted accounts and regions.
• Achieve or surpass annual sales targets by engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
• Keep the organization informed on business planning and the progress of post-contract implementations.
• Enhance account performance using sales data and expertise in the ASC market.
• Report to the Enterprise Accounts Vice President, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, while collaborating in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant work/sales experience is necessary.
• Demonstrated history of sales achievements.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential.
• Experience with cross-specialty contracting is required.
• Familiarity with contract management is necessary.
• Prior experience working with ambulatory surgery centers is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the cardiovascular medical device market is highly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence others is crucial.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering effective oral and written communications is required.
• Strong capability to prioritize tasks, analyze issues, develop alternative solutions, and implement strategies.
• Experience managing both mature and emerging businesses with diverse product portfolios is preferred.
• Understanding of the capital selling cycle and acquisition methods is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50%-75% within an assigned geographic territory is essential.
