This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist the Head of Corporate Partnerships, Community and Events in securing high-value, long-term partnerships across various sectors.
• Establish and cultivate long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with corporate partners.
• Oversee a portfolio of corporate accounts, ensuring exceptional stewardship and ongoing engagement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate fundraising inquiries through email and phone.
• Aid in the creation of proposals, reports, communications, and partnership materials.
• Implement account management strategies to maximize income.
• Identify and investigate new business opportunities, including conducting due diligence and developing prospects.
• Arrange and support new business meetings with potential partners and sponsors.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities to enhance corporate income.
• Collaborate with fundraising colleagues and the broader organization.
• Assist with financial processes, such as income coding and purchase orders.
• Provide administrative support, including acknowledgments and communications with supporters.
• Ensure adherence to data protection and fundraising regulations.
• Report directly to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, Community and Events.
• Experience in managing corporate partnerships or accounts.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting or executing new business development initiatives.
• Capacity to establish and sustain strong, positive relationships internally and externally.
• Proficient research and prospecting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and influencing capabilities.
• Familiarity with MS Office and databases.
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of and ability to embody Blue Cross values.
• Experience in corporate fundraising is desirable.
• Proficiency with CRM databases is desirable.
• Knowledge of the charity sector is desirable.
• Confident and engaging communication style is desirable.
• Creative and innovative mindset for identifying opportunities is desirable.
• Strong influencing and persuasion abilities are desirable.
• Strategic thinking and ability to identify growth opportunities are desirable.
• Solution-oriented mindset is desirable.
• Based in England.
• Capability to work remotely from a home-based setting with a contracted base site.
• Full-time equivalent of 38 days of holiday, increasing to 43 with tenure (including Bank Holidays).
