This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Assess AI-generated answers related to Spanish corporate and commercial law.
• Analyze legal reasoning pertaining to M&A, transactional, governance, and other corporate issues.
• Spot significant legal mistakes, omissions, unsupported conclusions, and flawed reasoning.
• Conduct a side-by-side comparison of responses from two different AI platforms.
• Identify which response more effectively addresses each legal inquiry.
• Rate responses using a standardized evaluation rubric.
• Consistently apply evaluation criteria across various legal questions.
• Offer concise written justifications for each evaluation.
• Clarify specific legal strengths, weaknesses, and inaccuracies.
• Highlight missing issues or analytical steps that significantly impact answers.
• Leverage professional experience from corporate, M&A, and transactional legal practice.
• Review transaction structures, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and deal execution.
• Evaluate legal analysis from the viewpoint of a practicing attorney.
• Operate independently while adhering to structured rubrics and timelines.
• Must be qualified to practice law in Spain.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm; 3+ years preferred.
• Significant professional experience in corporate law, M&A, or transactional practice.
• Primary professional experience should be within a reputable law firm.
• Candidates currently in-house may be considered if they transitioned from law-firm practice within the last two years.
• Strong understanding of Spanish corporate and commercial law is essential.
• Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to articulate legal reasoning clearly.
• Meticulous attention to legal accuracy, analytical consistency, and detail.
• Capability to work independently while adhering to structured rubrics and deadlines.
• Experience in reviewing complex legal research or written legal analysis is highly valued.
• Must perform tasks without utilizing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, law firm, institution, or other third party.
