📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic investments, which includes sourcing, financial analysis, coordinating due diligence, and planning integration in collaboration with senior team members.

• Perform market research and consolidate findings into strategic recommendations that influence the direction of the company and its products.

• Develop competitive insights on key industry players, assessing their relative strengths and weaknesses, and translating these insights into actionable strategies for Coinbase.

• Collaborate with senior team members to foster cross-functional relationships with executives and advance high-priority strategic initiatives.

• Establish and maintain connections with startups, investors, and industry stakeholders to uncover new opportunities and remain proactive in market trends.

• Enhance the operations of the Corporate Development team by refining existing processes and contributing to the recruitment and development of new team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, or private equity at a prestigious firm.

• Demonstrated success in managing M&A or strategic investment transactions from start to finish, which includes financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring.

• Proven capability to distill complex market data into clear strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.

• BA/BS degree with a strong intellectual curiosity for cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital assets.

• Employs generative AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs while driving measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
