This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Craft the corporate communications narrative for FICO's Software division, consisting of 75% software communications and 25% Impact initiatives.
• Lead integrated communication strategies while advancing the platform story.
• Facilitate executive thought leadership through intake calls, pitch creation, event preparation, social media engagement, and on-site conference assistance.
• Compose press releases, Q&As, talking points, executive briefing documents, strategic papers, memos, pitches, blog entries, and executive bylines.
• Interact with media, manage urgent inquiries, conduct interviews, and promote FICO news.
• Oversee content pipelines as well as external public relations agency projects and timelines.
• Secure, arrange, prepare, and support executive interviews.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, legal, marketing, Impact, and Corporate Communications teams across different regions.
• Assist with partner announcements, awards programs, award submissions, and external promotion.
• Track technology market trends and pinpoint opportunities to enhance relevance.
• Promote FICO's financial empowerment narrative through storytelling, thought leadership, earned media, and community involvement.
• Develop B2B and B2C narratives surrounding FICO's fraud and scams solutions.
• Identify and evaluate events and speaking opportunities that connect software with community impact.
• Ensure that Impact messaging related to software remains consistent across markets while monitoring pertinent industry news.
• A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or significant work experience in a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications, ideally within B2B technology and/or financial services sectors.
• Exceptional writing abilities.
• Capability to simplify intricate topics across technical, business, and consumer narratives.
• Demonstrated proficiency in media strategy development and executing integrated media campaigns.
• Ability to customize strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a desire to grow and take responsibility.
• Strong project management skills with the capacity to juggle competing demands, drafts, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Proficient in collaborating with product, legal, finance, and marketing teams and adapting to diverse leadership styles.
