This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Assess videos featuring Epidemic Sound’s and/or external clients’ catalog music within YouTube’s CMS and perform actions according to business guidelines.

• Verify system-generated videos for claims on YouTube and other online platforms.

• Listen to a substantial volume of music from various genres, with an emphasis on user-generated content.

• Carry out claiming operations by accurately marking timestamps for music usage.

• Adjust to regularly updated client instructions.

• Master both new and existing claiming techniques.

• Offer constructive feedback on workflow enhancements to improve systems and processes.

• Learn from colleagues, engage in self-education, and share insights with the team.

• Address client-specific duties and undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Strong research and analytical skills, with a quick learning ability.

• Technologically adept and comfortable using digital tools, including Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) and advanced internet search techniques.

• Self-driven and equipped for remote work with a dependable, high-speed internet connection and an ergonomic workspace.

• Openness and adaptability to travel for occasional in-person collaboration when requested.

• Genuine enthusiasm for music across all genres.

• Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday.

• Required to work all Poya holidays in Sri Lanka.

• Capability to participate in weekday training during the initial 2–3 weeks and whenever additional training is necessary.

• An exceptional musical ear, relevant university degree, or prior professional experience is preferred.

• Flexibility to occasionally align with time zones for offices located in Lisbon, Sweden, the U.S., and London.
