This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify new significant and transformational giving prospects across various revenue streams utilizing traditional research methods, AI-driven prospecting tools, and data enrichment platforms.
• Prepare, analyze, and manage research profiles and reports throughout the relationship management lifecycle.
• Support, attend, and facilitate meetings focused on prospect review and donor cultivation strategies.
• Utilize Every Action, Donor Drive, iWave, Wealth Engine, along with emerging AI and analytics tools to perform prospect research.
• Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities that guide relationship management decisions.
• Oversee research updates and deliverables within project management systems and CRM.
• Ensure the integrity and consistency of data.
• Employ automation tools and AI-assisted workflows to enhance research and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate across functions to refine research processes and outcomes.
• Assist in relationship mapping strategies to pinpoint potential high-net-worth prospects.
• Project manage relationship mapping processes, draft outreach communications, and monitor outcomes.
• Lead research efforts for supporters eligible for portfolio assignments to facilitate timely stewardship.
• Organize and maintain research files in SharePoint.
• Report directly to the Manager of Supporter Engagement.
• A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in development and prospect research.
• Proficiency in iWave, Wealth Engine, and/or other research platforms.
• Demonstrated capability or willingness to learn AI-enabled research and analytics tools.
• Understanding of prospect research principles and best practices.
• Experience with generative AI, data enrichment tools, and automation platforms.
• Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize information effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong skills in managing multiple deadlines.
• Curiosity and adaptability, with a readiness to embrace new technologies and innovative strategies.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects for several individuals simultaneously while delivering high-quality results.
• Prior experience with Every Action, Asana, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Willingness to travel once a year to New York City in October.
• Occasional travel to New York City for all-staff events.
