Coordinator, P2P Appeals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contact payers to arrange Peer to Peer discussions with CorroHealth Medical Directors.

• Reach out to payers regarding cases that have exceeded the scheduled Peer to Peer timeframe.

• Record payer-call details in CorroHealth’s proprietary system.

• Update account status in various databases.

• Assist with case entry, Peer to Peer engagements, and appeals processes within the department.

• Work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• This position is REMOTE and open to candidates located within the US only.

• Required Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST.

• Must enjoy engaging with others via phone communication.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks across various screens and programs.

• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a resolution-focused mindset.

• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a team.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Required to maintain confidentiality of all client and sensitive information.

• Strict compliance with HIPAA/HITECH regulations is mandatory.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Call center experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with denial processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care product lines is advantageous.

• Previous experience accessing hospital EMRs and payer portals is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

• Ability to utilize Excel formulas, copy and paste within cells, and create multiple worksheets in a workbook.

• Accurate keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.

• Capability to work at a computer terminal for 6–8 hours each day and to sit for extended periods.

• Occasionally able to lift and move materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
